Design: Mario Bellini

The cap

Fountain pen and rollerball with screw-off cap. Ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil with a twist-action mechanism.

The pen casing

Unique ribbed design comes with a black matt finish (refined PVD), or a titanium matt finish (PVD-finished).

The clip

With the black matt finished pen casing, comes with a polished gold clip (galvanized), or a polished black clip (refined PVD). Comes with a polished platinum clip (galvanized). for titanium matt pen casings.

The LAMY Imporium takes its roots from the LAMY Persona -- what used to be one of LAMY's most premium pens until its discontinuation in 2004. The LAMY Imporium is reminiscent of Art Deco architectural design with its fluted barrel paying homage to a Greek architectural column. With several refinements made from the original LAMY Persona design, the LAMY Imporium takes its place at the pinnacle of LAMY's signature range of writing instruments.

The LAMY Imporium is designed by internationally renowned architect and designer Mario Bellini. A multiple-award winning designer, he has 25 of his works in the permanent design collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art. Creating inspiring work be it furniture, his designs and architectural exhibitions have been the subject of international exhibitions both in Italy and overseas.

Since the 1980s, he has dedicated himself almost entirely to architecture, where he has designed numerous prestigious buildings that epitomize art and design, including the Tokyo Design Centre in Japan, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, the Deutsche Bank Headquarters in Frankfurt, the largest convention center in Europe -- the Milan Convention Centre, and the new Terminal 3 of the Rome-Fiumicino International Airport.
