First step is the LAMY abc Beginner’s Pencil. Then comes the LAMY abc Beginner’s Fountain Pen using ink. Both instruments were designed for children, from an ergonomic as well as an pedagogical point of view. This makes writing both easy and fun.

The stainless steel nib

Sturdy stainless steel nib with a rounded A-nib tip specially designed for beginner writers -- making it easy and safe to learn how to write. Can be substituted with a left-handed nib (available separately) to cater to left-handed learners.

The grip

Large non-slip grip that guarantees a relaxed and ergonomic writing position and that the implement is held securely in exactly the right place. 

The barrel

Barrel made from maple wood and cube-shaped top to prevent the pen from rolling away. 

The cap

Lid with nameplate. Cap and top part: shiny plastic.

The LAMY ABC Fountain Pen is designed to work with LAMY T10 ink cartridges, or the Z24/Z28 ink converter that is recommended to be filled with LAMY bottled ink (T51, T52, or T53).
